Whether it is WL alfalfa or our own brand of Enduro Plus, we’ve sought to provide producers with the latest genetics and best traits. That trend continues today as we say goodbye to a long time favorite, Enduro Elite, and upgrade to a better variety - Enduro 423AP alfalfa. What’s so special about 423?

Enduro 423AP alfalfa with StandLife Genetics™ protection is an excellent variety that is uniquely bred for outstanding resistance to multiple strains of Race 1 and Race 2 of Aphanomyces Root Rot. Additionally, Enduro 423AP is resistant to Aphanomyces Race 3 as well. That was not the case with Enduro Elite.
Enduro 423AP is a fall dormancy 4, meaning it will work very well in most, if not all, of CISCO’s marketing area. Producers should expect 4 cuttings each year. Its winter hardiness rating of 2 allows it to survive even the harsh winters we experience in our area.
Its disease package is second to none, which means it is truly an “all-purpose” (AP) type of alfalfa, designed for your toughest ground. The Aphanomyces Root Rot disease prunes roots throughout the life of the stand. StandLife Genetics™ protection alleviates this problem better than any other alfalfa genetics.
Enduro 423AP is an exceptionally high yielding and persistent alfalfa with excellent plant health and very good forage quality. Place this variety in fields where you suspect heavier disease pressure for the greatest value of this tremendous variety. But don’t hesitate to put it on your best ground either; it will deliver great value there as well.
