Here's a timely reminder from the University of Wisconsin on the dangers of prussic acid poisoning when feeding sorghum, sorghum sudangrass, or sudangrass after a frost.  

Here are a few highlights from the article: 

• Young regrowth is the most dangerous stage (18-24 inches). 
• As a precaution, don't feed sorghum/sorghum sudangrass silage for at least three weeks after storing.  
• Hay stored for 2 months or longer is generally safe to feed.  
• Allow 7-10 days after a light frost before feeding green-chop or grazing.
