Valor Winter Barley Performs Well in Penn State Trials
by Jeremy Sweeten
For the second year in a row, CISCO Seeds' Valor Winter Barley performed exceptionally well in the Penn State trials.
In both 2014 and 2015, Valor expressed perfect winter survival with little to no lodging. Valor yielded above 92 bushels both years with excellent test weight. In fact, in this year's trials, Valor had the highest test weight of any variety in the top six. Valor winter barley is a high yielding, winter hardy, awnless variety that continues to perform year after year.
