Discovering the Value of Cover Crops in Northwest Indiana - 2013 Report

The Jasper County SWCD (Indiana) is a leader in "on farm" cover crop research. Working with area farmers in Newton, Jasper, and Lake Counties, they are seeking to determine which cover crop practices are beneficial not only to soil health and clean water, but also to maximum productivity and farmer profit.

Recently they released their 2013 report, which summarizes the research and findings from another year of cover cropping in their region of Indiana.
